On November 8, 2015 a resident on Hwy 4 at Shirley Drive in Copperopolis reported that their vehicle, which had been parked at the Vista on Hwy 4 was broken into through a window and that medical marijuana and other items had been stolen.
On November 9, 2015 a resident on Diltz Way in Murphys reported that someone broke into their shed and attempted to break into the gun safe that is inside.
The Calaveras Sheriff's Office did take of report of these incidents.
