Can Calaveras Planning Commissioners order Health Officer around???

We've seen some pretty extreme decisions and statements made since the Tea Potty bunch took over the Calaveras Planning Commission. (Tunno and Muetterties are the big mouths!!)

The worst, however, is the day during the Ford Asphalt Plant hearing, when they ORDERED Jason Boetzer head of Department of Environmental Health to rewrite a report and make his opinion agree with them.

Boetzer had written that the asphalt plant may be a definite health hazard to residents in Rancho Calaveras. Two other doctors agreed with him.  How can appointed Planning Commissioners ORDER another department to change their report????

We see this as a definite legal issue in any lawsuit that appellants decide to bring against Calaveras County in the issue of the Asphalt Plant in Rancho Calaveras.

Three to two vote for denial, by the Board of Supervisors, of the asphalt plant appeal. Valley springs residents and surrounding environs be prepared to wear breathing apparatus. Remember the names Kearney, Oliveira and Edson. This is about those three people failing to uphold their three primary purposes of their elected positions, PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY AND GENERAL WELFARE OF THE CITIZENRY!
They, individually, didn't have the fortitude to express their reasons why they voted the way they did!
