Shirley Anne George, born on February 27, 1936, passed away at the age of 79 of Pulmonary Fibrosis.A resident of Valley Springs, she was a restaurant server who belonged to the Tri-Lakes Baptist Church and enjoyed church activities and Bingo.
She is survived by daughter Marlane Powers of Valley Springs and son Don George of Galt; grandchildren Elizabeth Flaggor of Atlantic Beach, Florida, Devin Flaggor of Jacksonville, Florida, Jonathon Hughes of La Porte, Texas, Kory Powers of Lemoore, Sarah Bishop of Orangevale and Rebecca Tucker of Dayton, Nevada.
She also leaves great-grandchildren Breanne Nance of Atlantic Beach, Florida, Masson Powers of Valley Springs, Shelby Powers of Valley Springs, Jayrn Bishop of Orangevale, Journee Hughes of La Porte, Texas and Jayden Hughes of La Porte, Texas.
Also surviving are brothers Jim Myers and Bill Myers and sisters Judy Rossel and Ginny McDougall.
She was predeceased by her father Raymond Myers, mother Lucille Meyers, brother Don Myers, sister Mary Myers and daughter Norene Marsh.
Services will be held on February 27, 2016 at 1 PM at the Tri-Lakes Baptist Church in Wallace.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Doris Day Animal Foundation.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
