January 23, 2017: As we reported earlier Bear Valley has been forced to suspend lift operations today. It's called being buried in snow1!!
They have over 23' of snow at the top and nearly 13' at the base. Whoa!! Some of their equipment is literally buried in the snow. How many years has it been since we've seen this much snow up there??
