Hattie Gerberding, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away atSutter Amador Hospital in Jackson on April 23, 2017 at the age of 86.
Born in Beckville, Texas on December 7, 1930, she was a registered nurse for 40 years, the last 24 at St. Joseph's Hospital in San Andreas before retiring in 1994.
She is survived by sons Joel McCann of Sacramento and Jeffrey McCann of Burson, granddaughters Jessica Ryan McCann of San Rafael and Kyran Erica McCann of Sacramento; sisters Rita Laterza, Helen Martinez, and Betty Monroe, all of Texas; sister Brenda Cox of Louisana and brother Terry Mondy of New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by husband Larry Gerberding, brothers Lloyd Mondy, Edward Mondy and Stanley Mondy and sisters Donna Cruz and Alvern Brewer.
She was laid to rest at Harmony Grove Cemetery in Lockeford.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
