As our readers are aware, we have had complaints about Calaveras District 4 Supervisor Mills behavior and discretionary spending account.
After checking the files we find no indication that although Mr. Mills gave his wife a title of his Administrative Assistant, we do not find any evidence that he is paying her.
Rumors do continue to float that she replaces him at some of his scheduled meetings and claims the travel expense as his. Mr. Mills considers his wife to be his staff.
If anyone has witnessed Mrs. Mills taking her husbands place at a meeting where he was expected, please advise us and we can have the travel expense log checked.
