Lillian Marie Cohan

Lillian (Grama Tiny) Marie Cohan passed away on September 28, 2017.

Born on August 4, 1920 in Pennsylvania, she moved
to California in 1947. She was a welder during WWII, building glider planes.

She lived for her grandchildren and bingo.  She was always fair and made sure that her family knew she had no favorites, she loved all of them equally.

She enjoyed playing games, and taught them checkers and other game.  She impressed that there
were winners and losers and how to be a good sport.  She also taught her grandchildren how to tell time, fold paper yo-yo planes and pan for gold.

She enjoyed her social time and her great friends. She hosted card games at her house every week and enjoyed going to the senior center and playing bingo.

She joined line dancing classes and kept herself busy and active, walking for 30 minutes every day. She enjoyed yard work and kept an immaculate house.

She took pride in her home and it was very important for her growing up in the depression to conserve water and resue all the thing that could be reused, recycled and repurposed.

She paid all her debts with pies. She was loved by all she met. She was a very stong woman and set a great example to the family.  She was preceded in death by her husband Paul.

She had one Daughter Connie, three Grandchildren Danny, Kelly (Tim, Timmy (Tonya), eight Great-Grandchildren Jeni )Jon), Shane (Marisa), Docy, dusty (Erica), Bryan, Tyler (Heather), Josh, Kacy, eight Great-Great Grandchildren Haleigh, Madyson, Addie, Xander, Charlie-Lou, Modoc, Stoic and Braylon.

Graveside services will be held at Buena Vista Cemetery in Murphys on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11 AM. Parking is inside the cemetery.
