A local man has been arrested in connection with the arson and looting in the Bear Fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Boulder Creek. Nearly 400 acres was destroyed, including 6 structures.
Authorities say it seems that the man was angry with a neighbor and set the fire, then moved into an evacuated house, stealing jewelry.
