On October 17, 2017 a member of the public asked Supervisor Clapp what he was doing about the crime problem in Rancho Calaveras.
Several friends of Clapp tried to intervene, to stop her, but the Chair allowed her to continue. Mr. Clapp did not respond, but was extremely nervous, and told her to see the Sheriff.
In the past, Clapp has blamed all problems in Rancho on cannabis growers, but there is no obvious connection.
