You're gonna LUV this one!! In Jenny Lind!!

Hey, let's go home with that stranger
over there! Nothing better to do, right?
The Calaveras Sheriff sent out a press release regarding the response to a residence in the 6000 block of Hwy 26
in Jenny Lind on September 17, 2018.

An altercation had been reported between a male and two females.  Upon arrival deputies apparently spoke with two females, ages 21 and 22, who stated they were visiting a male, suspect
Nicholas Kohring (28 of Valley Springs) at this location.

They had arrived at the residence after being at a bar out of the county the night before.  The two females had stated they were prevented from leaving by suspect Kohring. They also stated Kohring also made threats towards them.

We assume the one without a shirt in the suspect, Kohring!
While deputies were in the preliminary stages of the investigation (the scanner said the Sheriff had the property surrounded with deputies0, a male matching
suspect Kohring's description was seen running shirtless from the back of the residence.

Several deputies attempted to get suspect Kohring to stop with their patrol vehicles light and air horn, but Kohring fled on foot through neighboring yards.

Deputies set up a perimeter and detained suspect Kohring in a field nearby and suspect Kohring was arrested for alleged False imprisonment, Criminal Threats, Battery, Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Resisting or Obstructing/Delaying Officers.

Kohring was booked into the Calaveras County Jail with $125,000 bail.  Alcohol consumption and narcotics use is suspected to be a factor in this case.

Yesterday, someone tried to tell us this was a case of Spousal Abuse but apparently they were misled!
