After listening to complaints from students and faculty, the UC system has announced that they will no longer seek
to deepen ties with the Catholic church's Dignity Health hospitals, as had once been envisioned.
Citing that the Catholic health care system Dignity Health system makes its decisions based on religion, not on the best care for patients, discrimination goes against getting the best health care for everyone.
