According to CHP on August 4, 2019 around 6:10 PM Brandy Terry (39) of Vallecito was driving
a 1989 Nissan Pathfinder on Scott Street in Murphys.
Nathan Newport (42) of Oakley was driving a 2016 Chevy Silverado the opposite direction on Scott Street.
Marlene Flau (41) of Manteca was driving on Scott Street behind Newport in a 2016 Dodge Charger.
For an unknown reason Terry turned and struck Newport's vehicle and then hit the Charger head-on.
Terry was transported to Doctor's Medical Center with moderate injuries. No others were injured in this collision, which is still under investigation.
