Arnold burglary suspect arrested

       After a report on August 3, 2021 of a stolen generator from a residence on Circle Drive in Arnold, deputies saw

a video of Craig James Smith (52) of Arnold, taking the generator from the residence.

   Deputies contacted Smith, who admitted taking the generator and found it in one of Smith's trailers.

   Smith was arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged felony burglary and grand theft.
