More acreage destroyed by the Dixie Fire

Residents of Taylorsville told to leave due to
Dixie Fire overtaking town.

    As of August 17, 2021 at 8 AM the Dixie Fire has burned 604,511 acres and is still just 31% contained.

   That is 25,000 more acres than reported yesterday by Calfire.  Now they are issuing evacuations near Susanville, as the fire is headed in that direction.
