| Nearly 900 homes have now been destroyed by the Dixie Fire |
As of 7:45 AM on August 11, 2021 the Dixie Fire is 501,008 acres and is now 30% contained.
The fire completely surrounds the small town of Chester and nearly surrounds the beautiful Lake Almanor now.
