August 5, 2021: The Dixie Fire has grown to over 322,000 acres and burned part of the town of Greenville overnight.
It also is just outside Chester. Mandatory evacuations have been issued for the entire area. Containment is still at 35%.
We understand the logging mill in Chester is under immediate threat.
