A man was arrested by Calaveras Sheriff deputies around 11:50 PM on August 25, 2021, on foot
on Parrotts Ferry Road, beyond the closure.Richard Serva (32) of Avery, had attempted to cross closure at the CHP checkpoint and became angry when refused access.
According to the Sheriff, he had then walked through the wooded area to Parrotts Ferry Road, where he was apprehended.
