Statewide, the polls indicate that whether or not to pass Prop 34, the overturning of the death penalty is very close.
Some say it's a Republican vs. Democrat decision. Others say its men vs women. It depends on whether you believe life in prison is better or worse that being executed.
We do believe this one will pass, if only by a narrow margin. All of the laws in the state have received a lessoning of penalty lately.
The question is, will we only have killers in prisons from now on?
