UPDATE: 10:45 AM It is now being reported that there were no injuries in this accident which is being cleared now.
CHP reports that an accident which occured on Hwy 26 near Jesus Maria Road in Mokelumne Hill around 9:45 AM was actually a vehicle that went off the cliff near the bridge, close to the river.
Emergency teams, including an ambulance and tow truck are working in that area. Avoid it if possible until they report it is clear.
