Most of the public simply stays away from the Angels Camp City Council, which is actually run by certain friends of City Council members and McHatten.
The reason they stay away is because the City Council does nothing for the people, and tries in every way to make their lives more miserable, in our opinion.
However, a woman came forward to complain about the City allowing; no, encouraging the making of or rolling and smoking cigars at Utica Park during their centennial celebration. (this is illegal)
Why was this allowed and who's idea was it? Were the police present and was anyone cited or arrested. Of course not, because the City Council wouldn't want to upset their special friends!!
We realize it will do no good for her to complain; they will ignore it, as they have complaints of other residents and businesspeople about the corruption at the City.
