After hearing that the tea party campaigned for Cliff Edson for Supervisor
against Gary Tofanelli, we were afraid Edson would owe them a favor. We tried to warn him.
Well, that favor seems to have been paid back in the appointment of Ted Allured for District 5 Planning Commisioner. He only has a few conflicts of interest!!!
Allured was pushing hard to help the landowner in Valley Springs who so badly wants to put a gun range there.
Many were hoping Edson would choose a fresh face and appoint the well-respected Dennis Grady from San Andreas for that position.
But, politics always wins out, and favors must be paid back. Edson has a lot of other favors to pay back in addition to that one.
