We aren't sure why, but for some reason Congressman McClintock decided to attract attention further that Sacramento by attacking a columnist there.
Now everyone in the entire district had read what that columnist wrote, which we do not feel bodes well for Mr. McClintock.
We, the press, as well as his entire email list received a begging for money with that letter about the columnist.
We had thought it was a mistake and even sent the office an email asking why a request for money when he was just re-elected.
Could it be that he is very concerned that articles like that one in the Sacramento Bee by Dan Morain could affect his next election?
After all, look what happened to Lungren when he became totally inflexible and way too far to the right!
