At 10:15 PM the Sheriff's Office said to bring the dog to their office.
9:25 PM CHP arrived on scene and called a tow truck.
What was initially considered a traffic accident that occured around 9:05 PM has turned into a Hit and Run on Reeds Turnpike at Littljohn in Copperopolis.
Reportedly, a small black dog was found in the back seat of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
