Tom McClintocks Staff Visiting County--Got Questions?

As those of you who attend Board of Supervisors know, Congressman McClintock's staff have been around Calaveras County, even telling the Board of Supervisors that they are available to help constituents who request the help.

The Sierra Sentinel got a call, as we are certain other media outlets in the county did, and are expecting a visit from one of McClintocks staff in the next couple of days.

If you have any questions or concerns you would like us to put to the Congressman, leave them on the comments section here or call us at 736-4911 and we will be glad to forward them.

I would like to know how he voted on the fiscal cliff bill and if he is one of the obstructionists simply against anything the President does or says or wants?

What is an obstructionist? Why would anyone want to give everything the President does, says or wants?

Would an obstructionist be one who is opposed to HJ 15 Rep. Jose Serrano, the eradication of the XXII Amendment? Amendment XXII is Presidential term limits. Do you want a dictator for life?

When are they going to create good jobs. Not touristy jobs, but good jobs in calaveras county?

Who is they? All citizens are part of the solution for jobs in Calaveras. Don't ask, give your recommendations.

Two quesitons: Does he believe hunters should have the right to hunt bear and bobcats with hounds? (hunters rights)

And then ask him if women should have rights, contraception, abortion, etc. Bet he picks hunters over women.

I'd like to know where he stands on the post office. Does he intend to vote to give them more money or to make them cut back?
