One of the most interesting things to come up during this Calaveras County General Plan Update
is the fact that the ValleySprings dotcommers want to stop as Supervisor Spellman stated at their last meeting further "degradation" of the land due to development.
Of course everyone knows this makes Spellman a LIBERAL Supervisor. The funny thing is that Spellman and many of the other "no-growthers" live in Rancho Calaveras.
Rancho Calaveras, with its 3000 homes is the biggest and worst DEGRADATION to this country that has ever occurred.
These people should move away and let what was once beautiful land go back to nature. If they really were true environmentalists this is what they would do.
But no, they harrass every single other person, preventing any others from building on little parcels like THEY DID!!
Disgusting? Corrupt? Yep!!

Oh my gosh! This is so true. And those same people can't mind their own business. They have to harrass others who want the same kind of place they destroyed first. Not only that but these people don't even live in Valley Springs!
