UPDATE at 3:30 PM. A strike team, made up of hand crews and a dozer are responding to the Gold Fire.
4-30-13 at 3:20 PM: The Madera-Mariposa-Merced CDF unit is fighting a fire between Road 210 and Road 200 near Fine gold Creek in the community of O'Neals.
The Gold Fire, which started about 1 PM is now 30 acres and is 5% contained. Frank Bigelow, our Assemblyman, lives in O'Neals.
