The announced 8 oclock information release did not appear tonight from the Sheriff. We aren't sure if that means they are still searching for the murder suspect in Valley Springs.
We also did not receive a release on the "shelter in place" order for that area of Rancho Calaveras and Valley Springs.
We were told from one source that it was some type of home invasion that led to the killing of the 9 year old boy on Rippon Rd in Valley Springs.
Any further information we receive we will pass on immediately.
