Last night on CSPAN, the Elizabeth Colbert Busch (D) and Mark Sanford (R) went head to head in a debate shown on CSPAN, ahead of the May 7, 2013 election for the 1st Congressional district seat in South Carolina.
Mark Sanford, ex-governor, who was embroiled in a sex scandal that ended in a divorce, has recently been charged with trespassing by his ex-wife.
Colbert Busch has her brother Stephen Colbert, who promotes her on his own Comedy channel TV show.
The debate was lively, with Colbert Busch getting in plenty of remiders of Sanfords checkered past and Sanford, who tried to use Nancy Pelosi against her.
Sanford was leading until his ex filed trespassing charges against him and is now trailing Colbert slightly in soe polls.
