A small boat, or skiff, washed ashore near Crescent City recently. But this was no
ordinary boat.
This boat had traveled all the way from Japan, dislodged from its native mooring more than 25 months ago by the tsunami.
This is the first confirmed piece of debris to wash up in California caused by the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.
