The Friends of the Fair will be hosting the annual Whiskerino Dinner Dance on April 14, 2013.
This family friendly traditional event will be held in Mark Twain Hall. There will be several contests including costume and beard.
The Whiskerino started in the 1940's. It was and is today a pre-fair celebration. At one point there were several Whiskerino Dances hosted in each community within the County.
The food is great, music is country and the hospitality superb. Meet the Miss Calaveras and Saddle Queen contestants.
Tickets are $20 per person or $150 for a table of 8. Tickets are available at turners Wild West and the Fair office.
