According to CHP, on May 25, 2013 Mark Menchaca (48) of Altaville,
was driving his 2000 Ford north on Hwy 49, south of Union Mine Road in San Andreas.
Per the report, Due to his intoxicated state he was unable to maintain control of his vehicle and made an unsafe turning movement, which caused his vehicle to leave the roadway.
Upon leaving the roadway Menchaca's vehicle overturned and came to rest on the west shoulder of Hwy 49 on its right side.
Menchaca was transported by ambulance to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, including a head laceration.
He was arrested for alleged DUI, according to the CHP report.
