Although the Yankees lost to the Mets on May 29, 2013, Ivan Nova, a right-handed pitcher for the Yanks, became one of only 50 perfect inning pitchers in history.
In the top of the 8th inning, he struck out all three batters he faced -- in only 9 pitches!!
