The City of Angels Camp really doesn't seem to get it! We, the taxpayers, residents, businesses and voters of Angels Camp want to know why the City Council tries to sugar-coat everything.
Councilperson Sobon and others continue to try and pull the wool over the voters eyes, that everything is wonderful. Phony and false! Are they living in a dream world?
The City needs to become transparent and not continue to hide the bad things that go on here. Of course, the voters know they do it to try and get themselves re-elected.
Raggio, to his benefit, actually keeps his mouth shut; but it is because he hasn't seemed to learned one clue of what is really going on, and doesn't even attend City agency meetings.
We don't see what Council required committees or agencies he sits on, or ever hear him give a comment about what he has done as a councilperson since the last meeting. The Raggio's are beginning to remind us of Tryon; use the elected position to obtain special favors, land, etc., but do absolutely nothing for the people.
We know that Lynch does know what goes on, and still allows McHatten, etc to cover for the real problems--there is no truth that we can see.
The website for the City is a perfect example. A woman got up and made a comment that she could not even find the agenda. We can verify that, and we have never found the packet that Mr. Lynch refers too.
Lynch says everything they do not talk about at the meetings during staff reports is available on the website. That is total garbage. Nothing ever changes at the City. It only gets worse!!!
