Did you know that the CCPOA, the once powerful California Corrections and Peace Officers union lost their appeal of a $5.4 million lawsuit and not only had to put millions in cash into a special account to pay that lawsuit, but also had to put up land they own, including their headquarters in Sacramento?
They still spend a lot on elections, however. Wonder where they will stand on the ballot measure to end early releases of prisoners?
