The job-creation engine revved up in April 2013 and added 165,000 non-farm jobs. The unemployment rate is now 7.5% nationwide.
In Calaveras County, we don't see that, since the building industry was killed by our elected officials it is unlikely any good jobs will be found here.
The young people who want to get ahead will need to leave the county for the Bay Area where opportunity is waiting for the eager and harworking.
