5-12-13: If you get a sinking feeling something is wrong after seeing big cracks in the wall of your home, get out quick and call authorities.
Withing two weeks, a couple in Lakeport saw their home, lawn, garage and all, sink about 10 feet below the street.
As of now, 10 homes are sinking or in danger of sinking and have been evacuated. The owner of the first home that sunk is a former building inspector.
