Colorado legislators passed new state gun laws that broaden background checks and limit the size of ammunition magazines, in order to try and prevent more children from being slaughtered by guns.
As we have seen here in Calaveras County, Sheriff's offices are often made up of the same kind of "gun lunatics" as we see across the country, mainly tea party types, driven to believe that without a gun, they are not truly a MAN!!
Some Sheriff's organization in Colorado has now filed a suit (with Colorado taxpayers money) to stop the implementation of it.
They say "it would be nearly impossible to enforce, and that the new laws severely restrict citizens' rights to own, use, manufacture, sell or transfer firearms and firearms accessories."
Sounds like a great law to us, and that it would help prevent more children from dying!! Our Sheriff is just as bad as this one, supports and protects every "gun lunatic" we've tried to get him to prosecute for crimes.
