As I was driving through Murphys about 4:15 PM on May 2, 2013, there were several people fishing in the creek alongside Hwy 4.
All of a sudden a Fish and Game Warden pulled up and got out of his truck. We are sure he was heading to check on fishing licenses of those who were holding poles.
Don't take a chance. A violation will cost you much more than a fishing license. Go get your licence and keep it with you. Then you don't have to worry.
