Part 9 June 10, 2013: One lady commented that they will need something like 6,000 negative letters
for water and 2000 for sewer to stop the increase? That CCWD is not giving people enough time to protest.
No one has asked where are the fire hydrants that CCWD is responsible for.
The CCWD guy named Jeff said that Tom McCLintock is out representative. I don't think that is correct. He is federal and we're talking state regulations.
Perhaps CCWD's problem now is that they are so secretive. THEY REFUSE to film their meetings and put them on public access like other government agencies. Then the people would know what was going on instead of springing this on them.
Secretive, secretive, secretive. CCWD has problems, but the main one is that they are way too secretive.!!
One lady is upset and saying they are cramming this down our throats in a short period of time. Why don't you wait until next year, an election year?
It seems that what we are hearing is "THROW THE BUMS OUT!"

Gosh, CCWD held the Water and Wastewater Rate Study, "Time to Step Up to the Plate", May 2, 2013. There were maybe eight protesters there. It was very entertaining. You should have been there.
