Shawn Steffan Norried of Valley Springs, passed awayat Rideout Hospital of Marysville on June 2, 2013. He was 49.
A native of Concord, he was the son of Huey and Kyra (Landers) Norried. He was a painter by trade for 35 years.
Shawn was a very generous, giving person and very helpful to all. He was a Christian, a member of the Valley Springs Church of Christ.
He liked to collect things, made things and worked with wood. He also played the guitar and had a good heart.
Shawn is survived by his mother Kyra Norried of Valley Springs; siblings Paula Robataille (Darrel) of Valley Springs, Jon Norried (Cindy) of Martinez, William Norried (Lisa) of Valley Springs; uncle Robert Landers of Charlotte, North Carolina, and many cousins, neices and nephews, Jason and Ben Robitaille, .Summer Norried, Jesse Hansen, Morgan, Sawyer and Jackson Norried, Caleb and Lilly Robitaille, Carson and Luke Robitaille, Kaydance and Audrey Norried and Murphy Hansen.
He was preceded in death by his father Huey Norried in 2001 of cancer.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 3 PM at the Valley Springs Church of Christ on Paloma Road and will be officiated by Darrel Robitaille.
Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 5 PM at San Andreas Memorial Chapel.
