Is CCWD or Calaveras County Not liable for "Lake Toilet"?

Lake Tulloch or
Lake "Toilet"?
The more we delve into the fact that Lake Tulloch has sewage that leaks into the lake due to sewage lines that were allowed to run under the lake to the other side, the more we seem to get stonewalled.

Supervisor Ponte and CCWD Director Dennis Dooley were supposedly holding joint meetings to try and clean up the lake.

At some Calaveras County offices it's a standing joke that it's a good thing "Lake Toilet" is flushed every day by new water released by Melones, or it would stink.

Now we understand that CCWD says it is not responsible for these underwater sewage lines and that the county has to have a specific address before any sewage leak complaint can be investigated?

Does anyone care? They seem to be in "it's not my fault" mode and want to limit their "exposure"; to LITIGATION?

Supervisor Callaway speaks badly of CCWD and now wonder why CCWD doesn't want to get into joint talks. Part of this is water wars; but part of this is "Lake Toilet" responsibility.

"Lake Toilet" is the source. The incident has a name "FLOATER GATE".
The crowds that will soon be flocking to "Lake Toilet" will be on the "FLOATER GATE EXPRESS".
Why isn't Supervisor Spellman, independently, investigating "FLOATER GATE"? Why isn't he educating all of us as to his thoughts about it?
