Mike Borean Official Announcement for District 3


    Mike Borean has officially announced his candidacy for Calaveras County District 3 Supervisor which includes, Murphys, and Ebbetts Pass.


   He tells us that he has live in Calaveras County most of his life. He and his wife also chose to raise their five children in the county.

   Having lived in Arnold, Hathaway Pines and Murphys, he feels he has a deep understanding of the area, its treasures and its challenges.

Let the games begin. Mr. Borean is right, Calaveras County is challenged.
It should be very hard for Ms. Callaway to win in a primary election with three candidates.
This isn't about jobs, only, anymore. It's about the survival of Calaveras County. The raising of taxes to offset the high cost of county government won't be enough. A lot of people are opposed against raising taxes. Some even think the new jail and Sheriff's office is a boondoogle. Time will tell.

Tuesday's excitement packed BOS meeting had four candidates for election in attendance, Mr. Borean, Ms. Crane, Mr. Garrahan and Mr. Kearney.
