On February 15, 2014 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Charlie Waylon Amstutz (35) of Forest Meadows.
Amstutz was arrested on Big Trees Road in Murphys for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance and Transportation of a Controlled Substance, both felonies, in addition to a DUI of any drug, being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Unlawful Paraphernalia, misdemeanors.
Amstutz was booked into the Calaveras County Jail where he was released for lack of space pre-trial.
