According to the Calaveras Sheriff's Office, on June 5, 2015 they arrested Michael Rae Mendibles (49) of West Point at his residence on Main Street for alleged Attempted Murder and Assault with a Deadly Weapon, not a Firearm, both felonies and for Battery on a Person, a misdemeanor.
Mendibles was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
