CHP suspects alcohol caused Sonora crash

On June 3, 2015 at approximately 6 PM Carmen Reynolds was driving her 1993 Nissan Pathfinder eastbound on Mono Way, west of Seaborn Road in Sonora at a speed less than 55 MPH, according to CHP.

Reynolds allowed her vehicle to drift off the south road edge and collide with an embankment.

The force of the collision with the embankment caused the Nissan to roll onto its left side and slide to a stop.

The Nissan came to rest on its left side blocking the eastbound traffic lane of Mono Way.

Per CHP Reynolds was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for minor injuries to her head.  Alcohol is suspected to be the primary cause of the collision, per their report.
