UPDATE at 6:30 PM: This collision has been cleared. Hwy 49 is back open both directions. UPDATE: CHP has classified this accident as a major injury collision. Hwy 49 is still blocked as of 5:30 PM.
June 1, 2015 at 4PM: A traffic collision on Hwy 49 near the airport, has traffic backed up going both directions.
A two truck is attempting to make its way to the injured party. Use extra caution until CHP can clear the roadway.
