According to the Calaveras Sheriff, on October 9, 2015 Kent James Durand, (45) of Valley Springs was arrested for alleged Vehicle Theft and Receiving Stolen Property over $950, both felonies, at Hogan Dam Road and Silver Rapids Road.
Durand was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
Also arrested at the same time was Lea Maria ODowd (25) also of Valley Springs for alleged outstanding warrants.
