Angels Camp City Council meets tomorrow--CCWD selling water from Melones

On November 3, 2015 the Angels Camp City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 PM at the downtown firehouse.

On the agenda is permission to close Hardscrabble Street for the Angels Camp Business Association holiday event. We aren't sure of the date, as its not on the agenda.

Additionally approval of CCWD's application to store water in Melones Reservoir (Warren Act contract) so they can sell it to make more money to farmers, etc.  We are aware that this water will NOT be made available to Calaveras County residents.

Well, you have to admit that Melones has plenty of room to store water right now. Might as well use it.

that's sure the truth. but we need the water to be for us, so we don't have to kill our roses.
