August 5, 2016 at 12:10 PM: A red car was reportedly passing on Hwy 88 near Martin Lane in Ione when it was struck by the big rig and ran off the roadway.
The car overturned and then landed on its wheels. Fortunately no injuries were indicated, but be extra cautious if in that area.
