Lately we have been hearing all kinds of reports of crimes that District Attorney Yook has refused to prosecute; even some on VIDEO!
Certain names, like friends of cops, gun thugs, vandals with relatives at the county, and on and on, get away with just about anything. Everyone is talking about the corruption at the county, but what can be done about it??
We have questions about a case the Sheriff apparently investigated involving a Board Member Carol Gordon at the Vallecito Union School District.
Were crimes committed against the school in 2014? Was Carol Gordon censured by the rest of the Board? Was there a restraining order filed?
From what we understand, nothing and no one in law enforcement in Calaveras County, has even attempted to help the school district or the school board with their alleged challenges to her erratic behavior.
Who is she related to at the county? Is there another Gordon who is giving protection to the relative? Does this Calaveras DA act as judge, jury and protector of certain individuals for political or personal reasons.
It is well-known that she abandons women when cases involving her husband, a Calaveras Sheriff's deputy's boss, the Sheriff, is even mentioned for fear of his losing his job or being given bad duty.
How many other cases are there that Barbara Yook, Calaveras District Attorney has done favors for. Let us know. We are investigating Yook and the Sheriff's Office and will report all of our findings to the Grand Jury and Attorney General.
Something is crooked and corrupt about law enforcement in Calaveras County!! We need to root them out and throw them out of office!! Or maybe, as in the case of the Stockton Mayor, put THEM behind bars.

The DA acted as judge and jury when Tryon, Tofanelli, and the other three at the time, violated state law in closed session (Garcial Pay Raise). DA Yook said it was okay, they are apologizing. WHAT?
